ADA hotel accessories come in three collections — EcoClassic, EcoGreen and EcoEssential — built on the same principles: natural, renewable materials (bamboo, wood, cotton), plastic removed wherever possible and PCR plastic where unavoidable. Paper packaging is FSC certified: FSC Recycled for EcoClassic and EcoGreen, FSC Mix for EcoEssential.

EcoGreen has a naturally textured brown kraft cardboard aesthetic, in FSC Recycled packaging, with perforated boxes for the dental, vanity and shaving kits; the sanitary bags and laundry bag are made of paper.

EcoClassic is the elegant ADA accessories collection, in a contemporary, minimalist white and black style — the most extensive ADA line, 26 items, including a razor, shaving soap, toothbrush and toothpaste tablets. Natural, renewable materials (bamboo, wood, cotton), plastic removed where possible, white FSC Recycled cardboard packaging, discreet monogram.

EcoEssential, EcoGreen, EcoClassic
In 2024 ADA completely redesigned its guest accessories: natural, renewable materials (bamboo, wood, cotton), plastic removed wherever possible, and recycled plastic (PCR) where it cannot be avoided. Packaging is FSC-certified, and ADA has followed the Canopy Pack4Good commitment since 2022. The EcoEssential and EcoGreen collections alone remove almost 7 tonnes of plastic a year compared with the ranges they replace.
Why PCR plastic and not “bioplastic” (PLA)
Where plastic cannot be avoided – the shower cap, for example – ADA uses recycled plastic (PCR), not PLA or other ‘biodegradable’ plastics. These contaminate recycling streams and only break down in industrial composters. Shower caps are now made from 100% PCR film.

ADA Cosmetics is the first and only hotel cosmetics manufacturer with its entire range Cradle to Cradle Certified Silver. All products also meet the Green Key criteria. Certificate no. 12316, valid until 3 September 2028, verifiable in the public registry.
Frequently asked questions about Sustainable Accessories
What is the difference between EcoClassic, EcoGreen and EcoEssential?
EcoClassic: white and black, minimalist, 26 items, FSC Recycled packaging — the premium line. EcoGreen: textured brown kraft cardboard, FSC Recycled, with paper bags. EcoEssential: white FSC Mix sachets, neutral design, the affordable option. All use bamboo, wood and cotton and remove plastic where possible.
Are the accessories plastic-free?
Plastic is reduced to a minimum, not fully removed: where unavoidable (for instance the shower cap, now 100% PCR film), ADA uses post-consumer recycled plastic, recyclable after use, and no PLA or other so-called biodegradable plastics. Sewing kit buttons are wood or bamboo, and plastic cases are gone.
What do FSC Recycled and FSC Mix mean on the accessories packaging?
FSC Recycled means 100% recycled paper, no virgin wood — used for EcoClassic and EcoGreen. FSC Mix is a mix of material from FSC certified forests, recycled material and controlled wood — used for EcoEssential. All ADA accessories packaging carries the FSC logo, under the Canopy Pack4Good commitment (December 2022).
