Hotel bathroom trends 2026: colour, dispensers, wellness
What is changing in the hotel bathroom in 2026: PVD finishes, coloured hair dryers, dispensers as design objects, refill, wellness and personalisation.
In 2026, the hotel bathroom is designed like a room rather than an annex: metal takes on the project's colour, the hair dryer no longer has to be grey, and the dispenser on the wall moves from technical fitting to design object. At the same time, small bottles are giving way to refill, and hotel amenities bring a spa feeling and an identity of the hotel's own. Below, each trend is translated into what you can specify today, with the real lead times.
We look at trends from the buyer's side: the architect closing the specification, the director approving the renovation budget and the executive housekeeper who will maintain the bathroom for the next five years.
Which colours and finishes are coming into the bathroom in 2026?
Chrome stays, but it is no longer the only option. Through NU Finishes, Aliseo applies PVD coating to bathroom accessories and cosmetic mirrors: a physical process in which the pigments bond permanently with the surface, making it resistant to scratches and corrosion and easy to clean. Can the hair dryer be coloured?
Yes. Color Skin is Aliseo's thermoplastic finish that lets the VENTO Brushless hair dryer take practically any colour. The standard colours are Arctic Aurora, Dusty Rose, Fairytale Purple, Ice Blue and Jungle Green; if the project needs another shade, you can send a colour sample. The sample-room mock-up takes 3–5 weeks and order delivery 10–16 weeks.

The dispenser as a design object
For a long time, dispensers were chosen for hygiene and cost. Now how they look on the wall matters too.
SHAPE has an invisible bracket: the bottle appears fixed straight to the tiles, and changing it stays quick. The pump and drainage system are patented, and water does not stay in the mechanism, which matters for hygiene. SHAPE single brackets come in white, black, chrome and matt chrome, screw-fixed or self-adhesive; black is the natural choice for a bathroom with black chrome or bronze finishes. Refill instead of small bottles
This trend also has a legal deadline. From 1 January 2030, Regulation (EU) 2025/40 bans placing on the market single-use packaging for cosmetic, hygiene and toiletry products intended for the accommodation sector. A hotel renovating its bathrooms in 2026 or 2027 therefore has a practical reason to install brackets for refillable dispensers now, rather than returning to the same walls three years later. Wellness: a spa feeling in every room
The spa-style bathroom is the first of the 2026 bathroom trends named by ADA. Two ADA technologies answer it in different ways.
iSPA is the ADA line launched in 2026 around the idea of a spa in the hotel room. Its formula is built on Mineralized Complex™, patent filed: magnesium from olivine and zinc from smithsonite, which turn the water in the formula, usually up to 80 % of the composition, into an active ingredient. An independent study on the finished product measured, after 71 days, 21 % higher skin elasticity and 17 % higher skin density. iSPA is available on SmartCare, SHAPE and Pump Dispenser and is compatible with Refillution. Actimood® is the fragrance programme developed by Symrise, with which ADA has worked since October 2024. The fragrances are validated through biometric, psychometric and neurometric measurements, and the intended benefits are relaxation, energy and mood. In the ADA range, Actimood®-certified fragrances are found in Element_ry, Yon-Ka (certified for relaxation) and Naturals.
Personalisation: a bathroom with the hotel's signature
Personalisation is no longer reserved for large chains. Through ADA Atelier, a hotel can choose a fragrance from ADA's portfolio or develop a signature scent, put its own logo, typography and colours on the label (14 colours available) and order dedicated, fully recyclable packaging. Quiet technology in the room
The same logic of discreet design applies in the room. Indel B's thermoelectric Drink T Plus and Breeze minibars run without a compressor or fan, so they are silent (0 dB). For energy efficiency, the K Ecosmart compressor range has a declared consumption of 0.134–0.137 kWh per 24 hours. Which finishes does Aliseo NU Finishes offer?
Chrome, black chrome, brass, bronze, nickel, optic gold and red gold, polished or brushed. It applies to every Aliseo accessory line and to the cosmetic mirrors, except the MAXIMA series.
Is there a minimum quantity for NU Finishes?
No. Aliseo sets no minimum order quantity. The sample-room mock-up takes 6–8 weeks and the full order is delivered in 15–18 weeks.
Which colours does the Color Skin hair dryer come in?

Are dispensers mandatory from 2030?
Regulation (EU) 2025/40 does not prescribe a particular system; it bans, from 1 January 2030, single-use packaging for cosmetics in the accommodation sector. Refillable dispensers are the practical way to comply.
Can I personalise hotel amenities without a bespoke formula?
