SmartCare Soft-Touch scores 18 out of 20 for "Made for Recycling"

ADA Cosmetics' SmartCare Soft-Touch dispenser scored 18 out of 20 points in Interzero's independent "Made for Recycling" assessment. For a hotel, it is recyclability evidence it can cite.

SmartCare Soft-Touch scores 18 out of 20 for "Made for Recycling"

Interzero assesses how well packaging can actually be recycled in existing collection and sorting systems, country by country. Qualifying SmartCare Soft-Touch variants carry the "Made for Recycling" label in the European markets covered.

The result comes down to construction. The bottle and cap are polypropylene, so the dispenser is mono-material. Light-coloured variants (for example Hydro Touch, Yon-Ka and The Skinfluencer) use labels without carbon-black pigment, which would block optical sorting. Dark variants will move to colours detectable by near-infrared sorters by the first quarter of 2027.

The other SmartCare arguments stand. Hygiene was confirmed by an independent study at Rhine-Waal University. The bottle is swapped in its holder in five seconds, and mounting is theft-proof. Together with the Refillution refill system, ADA cites up to 95% less plastic than small portions, according to the manufacturer.

Why it matters now. From 27 September 2026, every environmental claim on a hotel's website or materials needs evidence behind it (GEO no. 18/2026). An independent assessment with a score and a source is exactly the kind of document that supports the wording "recyclable dispensers". More in our guide to ESG reporting for hotels.
